Yourday Inc Extends European Presence
YourDay, Inc (YourDay), expert in proprietary video-capture technology has boosted its European presence by forming YourDay UK Limited and building a new UK-focused team.
YourDay’s technology provides personalised imagery in DVD souvenirs in theme parks and leisure venues around the world. It has recruited Phil Heede as Operations Director, YourDay UK Limited. Heede’s remit is to bring the YourDay at Alton Towers project to fruition on budget and to schedule, build the YourDay team and oversee the day to day running of the business.
Formerly with Alton Towers for thirteen years, Heede was latterly Head of Commercial Operations at Alton Towers for four years. Prior to this he held various executive roles at the Staffordshire-based theme park responsible for business support, IT systems, stores and distribution centres.
Heede is a qualified accountant whose first role was in retail. His career has been spent in the leisure industry, and he is married with two children. He said: “I joined YourDay as it represented a step in technology that I hadn’t seen in 13 years, has real ‘wow’ factor and the potential to be huge. Why would you buy just one still photo of your day out when on your YourDay DVD you have 1,000s of frames to choose from at your leisure and in the comfort of your own home?”

Heede has already hired a Retail Manager for YourDay UK Limited – Davie Dallal who joins from a background in retail with Tesco and TKMaxx. Staffordshire-born Dallal started his career with Michelin where he held various management roles including Operations Manager for Rubber Processing. As Retail Manager, Dallal will be responsible for the YourDay Retail Outlet at Alton Towers and lead the YourDay team at the theme park.
